30 Cup Rice Cooker Modifications
As a result of ongoing research and development, we have decided to modify our 30 cup rice cookers.
As of June 2011, all of our 30 cup rice cookers will be sold with a factory fitted 15 amp plug. This is to ensure that they are operated on a single circuit, thus ensuring that they always have enough power to function properly.
Since they are very powerful machines, they require virtually the full capacity of a 10 amp power point in order to operate properly.
Significant power changes and thermal fluctuations will damage the thermal fuse, causing the machine to fail.
Whilst easily replaced, fuse failure is inconvenient and avoidable if the appliance is used correctly as designed.
A 10 amp plug may also be retro fitted, but this limits your warranty to 3 months. Click for Details
